I taught art at secondary and tertiary level for over 20 years.

Although my training included practice in sculpture, print making, photography, drawing and painting, my choice of medium is pastel.  It isn’t just “chalk”, it is incredibly versatile and forgiving. But, like anything else it takes practice.  Occasionally, I make my own pastels.

I also play around with aphorisms and proverbs, turning them into visual puns.

I’ve participated in many group shows throughout NSW, and in the U.K.

I have works in private and public collections in Sweden, U.K. Canada, Australia and Hong Kong.

I have a B.A. Fine Art (London) and a Dip. Ed. (Sydney)
