Nic Mason is an emerging artist in the NSW Tablelands Region of Australia. She has a lifetime of drawing behind her, and since picking up a paint brush in 2009 her drive to learn and grow and communicate has been unstoppable.
Nic has been awarded several awards including the 2015 Central West Regional Art Award through Cowra Regional Art Gallery and the 2015 acquisitive Oberon Archie through Columbia Aged Care. 2016 saw her first solo art exhibition, Wild in Cowra Regional Art Gallery. In 2017 she accomplished her second solo art exhibition. This exhibition STILL occurred in this Gallery, Tablelands Artists Cooperative Gallery. Nic is interested in the act of creating and in communicating concepts. Her paintings are strongly influenced by her background in conservation management, her family, the land and people around her. She is optimistic about creating work that enables meaning to resonate over time and place.
